I’m Aaron Brien, a digital media artist based in Sydney, Australia. Since around the turn of the millennium I've been messing around with computers to create art and make stuff. For the past 12-13 years this has involved delving into a range of different softwares and exploring their creative potential. I was originally drawn to to the computer as a creative tool through early versions of programs like Cubase and Ableton and the potential they offered to both making music and manipulating audio. Somewhere along the line the gap between audio and video was bridged and I found myself settled in motion graphics. These days most of my time is taken up working in After Effects to create a range of different types of graphics that service a mostly corporate clientele. From animated logos and info-graphics to compositing and motion tracking.
